From the words of her song entitled Lyrically Your Through, “…hip-hop needed a savior so my Momma gave birth…”, Ninaz Soul was born to rap, destined to flow and her fluent style brings a breath of fresh air to the game of hip hop.

Although her lyrics exude confidence, in no way is Ninaz Soul conceited or “caught-up in the hype” of the entertainment industry. She is one of the most humble and modest people you will ever meet.

For as long as she can remember, Ninaz Soul has loved the sound of music, with blues being her first love. While in the sixth grade, she was captivated by the sounds of the Da Brat's single entitled "Funkdafied." The instrumental for that single inspired her to spit her first free-style rap… and the rest was history.

From middle-school to high-school and on through college, Ninaz Soul would participate in free-style ciphers. As the only female rapper in the midst of a heavily dominated male game, the reaction from those listening and the response from the male rappers as they dropped out one-by-one, further confirmed that her gift and her voice was one that needed to be heard by the masses. “I'm extremely passionate about music so everything I do comes from my soul”.

Not only was Da Brat an inspiration, Ninaz Soul was also inspired by MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo, Salt & Peppa, Lauryn Hill, Marvelous, Shawna, and many more. Ninaz Soul is also captivated by the sounds of Lupe Fiasco, Andre 3000, Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, T.I., Scarface, UGK, Devin the Dude, Common, E-40 and others.

Ninaz Soul has been labeled “The Lyrical Lioness” as she is a lyricist to the core, and truly represents the essence of “Hip Hop”. Most of her songs are laced with a reference of the word “lyric, lyrical, or lyrically”, as her passion for rejuvenating the game of hip hop and starting a new movement to take a piece of hip hop back to it’s original roots, is so passionately expressed in the lyrics of her music. All of this, while at the same time respectfully joining this new era of hip hop greats and “legends in the making” on this ever growing and monumental hip hop stage.

Although she’s not an amateur and no new-comer to the game, Ninaz Soul recognizes that she is just at the beginning of defining her name “Ninaz Soul” by pouring out poetic, hip-hop and soul music.
